Pan Pacific is a family owned and managed company. We supply a full range of DC voltage auto electrical and air conditioning products to trade and repair companies throughout New Zealand.

Our customers are auto electrical, marine electrical and auto air conditioning technicians. They service passenger, commercial, industrial, mining, agricultural and marine DC voltage applications.

Company History

The company was formed in 1979 in West Auckland. We initially manufactured alternator regulators and imported products from Asia for distribution throughout the auto electrical network. Continuous reinvestment of profits into new products saw the company steadily expand and diversify over the next ten years with sales representatives servicing customers in all parts of the country.

In 1994, Pan Pacific released a full-colour parts catalogue and introduced thousands of new products to the market, revolutionising the industry and building strong customer loyalties that remain today. This paved the way for developing and releasing the first fully electronic catalogue and ordering system for the New Zealand auto electrical industry, in 2000.

Present Day

PartsManager, our live internet catalogue and online ordering system has become renowned in the industry as one of the best trade catalogues in the world. It includes a forum where technicians can anonymously share advice and this has become an archive of very useful technical data.

As a New Zealand owned and operated company for over 30 years, we are highly tailored to the domestic vehicle parc. All our staff are employed in New Zealand and all profits are reinvested here, so we are able to respond quickly to the requirements of the market.

The Future

In 2013 we moved into a brand new, purpose-built distribution centre warehouse and head office complex in West Auckland. This will ensure that the company has plenty of space to diversify our product range and continue to operate very efficiently.
